Dr Ailis Quinlan (Secretary)
Dr. Ailis Quinlan is a Public Health Doctor, Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health Medicine and Associate member of the Faculty of Paediatrics, RCPI.
She has extensive experience in health service management, service delivery and policy development.
Prior to her current appointment in March 2004, she was Director of Community Care in Dublin South-West for 12 years. She was responsible for carrying out needs assessment and service delivery for a disadvantaged population of 120,000.
As National Child Health Co-ordinator with the “Best Health for Children” initiative (1999-2004), her brief was to develop and implement a national, evidence based, high quality, standardized, child health service.
Ailis has post- graduate qualifications in Health Service Management, Health Economics, Healthcare Risk Management and Quality in Healthcare. She has been closely associated with the ISQSH since first becoming a Board member in 2003.
