Mary is the Director of Psychology for Health Intelligence (HI) – National Population Health Directorate HSE (Health Service Executive). Health Intelligence is responsible for capturing and utilising knowledge to improve health outcomes for the population. Her responsibilities include development of a national Evidence Base Information Service to provide best practice solutions across the heath care sector including development of shared vision, mentoring and facilitation. She is responsible for providing expert knowledge on quality improvement, change management, mentoring. She provides clarify the objective facilitation support for projects e.g. for the team Implementation of best evidence for AMI Care. Mary is also responsible for developing a framework for Knowledge exchange with in the HSE. She is Chair and joint lead of National group on Research Ethics Committee Processes with in the Health Service Executive (HSE) She is also a member of Waterford Regional Hospital (WRH) Research Governance Team (RGT). Her previous role was a Regional Director of Services for Children on the Autistic Spectrum in Dublin Mid-Leinster region. Mary is a psychologist and psychotherapist and has managed multi-disciplinary clinical services. She is a registered psychologist with the Psychological society of Ireland (P.S.I)
